Brett's been busy...

Brett painting the old apartment, you have to leave it like you got it.

And I have been to Praktiker, a hardware store, 3 different times today.

Step one...

Have Marcel and Uwe Bullert over to take out the oven and stove. 220 volts is more than we trust ourselves to work with. The "kitchen" at the church is cleared out, painted and ready to have our kitchen built in on friday.

What does your house look like?

We are a little embarrassed to show the state of ours, but it's an inevitable part of moving, right?

Okay, this has never happened...

I don't know if you can tell what this is, but I'll tell you--it's bird poop. The weather has been amazing, so I've been drying the clothes outside as I do every year when the weather allows. This was the first time this happened and I thought it was funny enough to share.

I want it to be known that Fiona put the bib on by herself.

Fellowship

Friends of ours, the Roterts, work with a church in Italy. Brian said it best when describing church, fellowship and what that all means. Click here to read what he had to say.
Here are some pictures

Fiona and Lorena. Fiona looked out the window at the falling cherry tree blooms and said (during church) "It's snowing!"
