Johannes Duckeck came to visit this week after finishing up all his final exams for his Abi, something like your high shool diplomma, but much, much, much more difficult. Anyway, he thought he was coming for a vacation, but we totally put him to work--changing tires, helping me out at the restaurant and not sightseeing at all (the church tower was closed every day he was here execpt the day I had to work). He was a great sport about it and did get to read quite a bit.
Saturday, after getting back from Spieleabend and visiting with Catja in Peine, we went to Fiona's favorite playground.
Then we had to go to the grocery store to get enough food to feed Fiona for her all-day fieldtrip on Monday. I'm a little nervous about this, but also looking forward to helping my friends, Chrissy and Christine, shop all day!
